The Sure story began when
Wayne was flying to Las Vegas when the plane hit some nasty turbulence. After the flight leveled off, Wayne looked around. Inspired by his experience, he asked his seat-mates, "If you could have purchased insurance that covered you before this flight took off, would that have made you feel better?" An emphatic "yes" from strangers was all it took, and Sure was born.
