ARS (Academic Recovery Session) + it will not be scored, since three late assignments were already scored.

How do you come to class prepared?

Binder is organized and in class or in your backpack, laptop is charged, students are on time, have pencils, ate (breakfast, snack or lunch), got sleep the night before, in seat by the bell etc.

I turned in a late assignment but Ms. Clark has not graded it- Why?

Late work will be graded when I can get to it (and in the order it was received) + students need to fill out the Request to Grade Late Work Form, otherwise it will not be scored.

Try your best- what does that mean?

It's ok to make mistakes! Reflect, grow and learn. Be open to feedback.

What if a student misses a lab or an assessment?

Schedule a make up with Ms. Clark. Some labs may not be made up, it depends on the timeline of absence and complication of the lab.

List 3 things that are not allowed in class.

Cell phones, food (unless given special permission/earned), toys, electronics, drinks (except water or drink station provided by Ms. Clark)

When is the absolute, latest, deadline to turn in any late assignments?

1 week after the beginning of the next unit. For example, Unit 2 assignments can be turned in within 1 week after the Unit 2 Summative Assessment. Anything from Unit 2 turned in after that will not be graded.

How do we work as a team?

Different strengths support each other, kind words and actions, asking for help, listening, teachers and students help each other, practice!

If a student was absent two days, Monday & Tuesday, October 6 & 7, when does their make up work need to be completed by in order for it to be graded?

Friday, October 10  (The number of days they are absent +1 day)

What happens if items not allowed are out in class?

(Hopefully a student will remind you so Ms. Clark doesn't need to). After that, reminder from Ms. Clark and then it will be at my desk until the end of class.
