When and where are food and drinks permitted?

During class food is not allowed at any time unless special circumstances permit as determined by the teacher.  Drinks must be kept in a sealed, see-through, and spill-proof containers. Refillable water bottles are highly recommended. Water can be provided for special cases. All water and food must be consumed outside of the classroom.

Define the cell phone policy.

Cell phones will not be permitted for use during learning times unless special permission by the teacher has been given. All cell phones need to be put away in a backpack, not your pocket during instruction, especially labs and demos. This includes the use of cell phones for music, meaning no earbuds. Once the teacher begins, phones should be put away.

What is the cheating policy?

Cheating will not be tolerated. Cheating will result in a grade of zero for that assignment. This assignment will not be permitted to be retaken.

How does extra credit work?

No extra credit assignments will be made. Bonus questions on quizzes or exams may be provided.  It may also be given in the form of a classwork assignment. These bonus points are added on to the grade received for that assignment only.
