What is the cell phone policy?
cell phones are collected at the beginning of class and will be handed back at the end (phones out will go to dean)
What is the tardy policy for this course?
scholars will NOT be accepted into class late without a pass
What grading system do we use?
The 1-4 grading system

come to class prepared, come on time, maintain a respectful attitude, use respectful language, etc.
What is the late homework policy?
late homework will not be accepted- homework is a no tolerance policy
How will your performance in this course be evaluated?
Classwork, projects/ labs, homework, and quizzes/ tests
What day/ time are office hours for science?
Tuesdays 2:30-3:30
What is the late classwork policy?
10 points will be taken off each day it is late, after three days it will be an automatic zero, no negotiations
What is the difference between a 3 and a 4
3's are mastery but to receive a 4 scholars work must be above and beyond
When scholars have a 1.5 or below
What are the required materials for this course?
A notebook, a folder, a pack of pens or pencils and highlighters

Explore living organisms and their environments - create a deeper understanding of principles of living things
