What is P.R.I.D.E.?
The student is to take a seat, put your phone up/headphones away, get your Bellringer out, get pencil/calculator out, complete the bell-ringer, and wait for further instructions is this procedure.
What is Beginning of Class?
This will be given if rules are not followed the first time.
What is a Verbal Warning?
30% is the percentage for this type of assignment(s)/assessment(s).
What is Quizzes/Projects?
This extra credit is given for various reasons throughout the class period, i.e. turning in phones into storage pocket.
What is PRIDE Bucks?
Respecting your classmates and Being Responsible are these 2 expectations.
What are Respectful and Integrity?
This center is where the student will find absent work, copies, turn-in, borrowing pencils, etc.
What is Student Center?
Student will be given this if a verbal warning was given.
What is Discipline assignment?
This kind of work will be accepted up until the 2-weeks prior the end of the grading period unless discussed.
what is Late Work?
Students can add PRIDE Bucks to this at a max of 100%.
What is Homework/Classwork?
Doing your best and being your best self are these 2 expectations.
What are Determination and Excellence?
Miss K will give this warning for you to wrap up what it is you are doing followed by another warning.
What is 5 min followed by 3 min?
Leaving the classroom out the wrong door (the one closest to the flag) will result with this happening.
What is Office Referral?
If absent, work can be found in this upon students return.
What is Planbook and Absent Section of the Classroom?
It is a student's responsibility to do this with missed assessments.
What is re-schedule?
This device is either put in "my pocket" or "your pocket".
What is Electronic? or What is Cell Phone?
Student must do this if they need to leave the classroom.
What is sign out and grab a pass?
No leaving your area a mess and No moving seats is an example of this part of the syllabus.
What is Rules/ "No No's"?
This is a way for students to easily communicate with Ms. K besides email. Student can find updates, resources, and assignments.
What is Microsoft TEAMS? or What is TEAMS?
This kind of reward will not be open until 2nd Quarter.
What is Miss K's Kafe?
Ms. K said this acronym tells the students what they should be able to do.
What is SWBAT?
Ms. K mentioned that during group work or partner work, you will be allowed this.
What is phone/music?
If the class gets a little too loud, Ms. K uses this as an attention getter.
What is Doorbell?
Ms. K has mentioned that as long as the student does this, she is willing to be fair with the student.
What is Communicate? Be Respectful?
Ms. K mentioned that this will will not be assigned but that it's classwork not finished, then it becomes this.
