This indicates that the directory alias does not lead to a locally accessible drive/location.

IQAlert reports "Export failed! (error: 1)" in the comment section of recent backup action.

This is a generic error indicating SOMETHING went wrong.  The backup may have even run successfully, but attached actions (like zipmove failed)... or using the wrong expdp executable... or many other things.

Executing SQL commands in DD > SQL tab, we get error: [FireDAC][Phys][Ora] ORA-14047: ALTER TABLE|INDEX RENAME may not be combined with other operations

Indicates that we have a semi-colon in the line, and need to remove

When trying to open a report in EIQ, we get Operation aborted (REPDEF Action: creating report object unable to locate EnterpriseIQ Crystal Reports Components) 

This indicates something went wrong during CR prereq install and/or registry.  We can try to run-as-admin, register the dll's directly or reinstall the pre-reqs entirely (check for 13.0.13)

At EIQ login screen, we get: -1309. OCI is not properly installed on this machine (NOE1/INIT)

Indicates client did not install properly, and will require reinstall

After upgrade, we are seeing unresolved dependencies regarding: SMP_BLOB 

These are old and unnecessary tables for old EM, and should be dropped in modern EIQ

Sending test emails in SysParameters, we get: 5.7.0 Authentication Required 

Indicates that the SMTP is rejecting our Authenticated User, commonly for password or MFA reasons.

When trying to log into DD, we get the error: ORA-04098: trigger 'IQMS.TDB_LOGON_FAILED_TRIGGER' is invalid 

Indicates that we need to run the most current version of GrantIQMS.bat

Some IQAlert actions fail with the error: Class not registered, ClassID: {777C773A-3732-4DFC-8148-0F4D5C0A0F52} 

Likely missing admin rights during client install, and just need to manually re-register CoreUIControls.dll

When trying to log into DD, we get the error: ORA-00001: unique constraint (IQMS.PK_S_USER_LOGIN) violated 

Re-run GrantIQMS.bat and run Fix_s_user_seq.bat

When accessing the EnterpriseIQ website, we get error: ORA-28001: the password has expired

Indicates that the RTBox password has expired.

During OPatch process, we get an error: error code = 73 

Indicates that certain drivers are being held by window services (and we can clear with restart or find and kill processes with process explorer)

When using Javamail Updater, we get error: 'sqlplus' is not recognized as an internal or external command 

The user/command prompt is missing a %PATH% to sqlplus.

During manual import, we get an error: ORA-39143: dump file may be an original export dump file 

Indicates that the target DMP for load was generated with the old EXP tool (rather than EXPDP) and requires old IMP tool (or to re-export)

When trying to log into SQLPlus as conn / as sysdba, we get the error: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

Indicates either missing ORA_DBA group or missing NTS authentication.

When trying to add a backup action to an IQAlert group, get the error: ORA-00001: unique constraint (IQMS.UNQ_IX_MON_RUN_ACT) violated 

Indicates that the backup action is already in an IQAlert group, and may not be in multiple.

When trying to launch SQLPlus, we get the error: The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b) 

This indicates missing MSVCR (2017 or v14).

During grantIQMS, we get the error: SP2-0310: unable to open file "C:\Users{username}\AppData\Local\Temp\2\sqlfile.sql" 

Indicates that the TEMP location is not configured with these subfolders, and we can either make the path or set a new location for TEMP.

IQAlert reports "Export Failed - (Error: 5)" in the comment secion of recent backup action. 

This indicates that the recent backup was force-ended prematurely, and we should clear out any remaining/stuck jobs.

When trying to access EnterpriseIQ website, we get: THOTH Gateway - Access Denied

This indicates that the IQMS user is missing webdirect_role

When trying to open DD > Help > About, we get an error: ORA-00904: "SEC_DISPLAY_LAST_LOGIN": invalid identifier 

Indicates local and masterhome mismatch.

When logging into SQLPlus, we get the error: ORA-27101: Shared memory realm does not exist 

This indicates Oracle service failure (with luck, we can hope to restart the service, but may need more serious recovery measures).

During regular IQWin32 usage, we are recieving an error: ORA-01652: unable to extend temp segment by 8192 in tablespace USERS 

Indicates that we have run out of tablespace in USERS (confirm oradata location and file names).

During export, we get the error: ORA-01555: snapshot too old 

Indicates that the undo retention is too short, and on average we would set to 10800.

In security inspector, when creating a new user, we get error: ORA-01920: user name '*****' conflicts with another user or role name 

Even if no other EIQ user is listed with the same name, we may need to check DD for Oracle users with the same name.

After upgrade, we are seeing unresolved dependencies regarding: QUEUE_PCMON

Assuming this is PROD/TEST and not a HIST db, then this indicates HIST scripts were run in our environment accidentally (and such tables should be dropped)

During EXPDP, we get an error: ORA-01466: unable to read data - table definition has changed

Indicates that transactions are still occuring during export, and edited tables will be skipped.  Re-run the entire backup with no one in the system.

During 'backup' we get the error: VSS-00044: Database in NOARCHIVELOG mode must be in a consistent state for backup 

Indicates that we might be trying Veeam backup, and ALM setup.  We don't actively support this, but it is worth trying to just shut off oracle before running.

During EXPDP backup, we get the error: ORA-48128: opening of a symbolic link is disallowed 

Oracle directory does not allow for UNC by default, use a local drive path.

During Ataman login, we get the error: Logon failed: Invalid account or password

Likely indicates that the saved password prompt in ataman control panel is out of date/wrong (windows user, not EIQ user).

During export, we get the error: ORA-31693: Table data object "IQMS"."SYS_EXPORT_FULL_XX"

Indicates stuck backup jobs, and that we may need to clear the table.

When trying to import Roles, we get error: Access violation at address 0056255F in module 'Dd.exe' 

Likely indicates that we are trying to import roles from a mapped masterhome, and should likely have success copying down to local and reimport.

When printing a label, we get an error: UFL 'u212com.dll' that implements the function is missing. 

Likely indicates that the actual barcode font file is missing/corrupt and not necessarily a problem with drivers.
