What is the Century Tree?
The most recognizable symbol of the Aggie Network. Often referred to as 'Aggie Gold'.
What is the Aggie Ring?
One of the top 5 largest college football stadiums in the nation. Home to the Fightin' Texas Aggie football team.
What is Kyle Field?
Current Texas A&M students who pass away during the school year are honored the first Tuesday of the month following their deaths. A special version of 'Taps' is played during this event.
What is Silver Taps?
The mascot of Texas A&M, the highest-Ranking member of the Corps of Cadets, our queen. If she barks in class then class is dismissed!
Who is Reveille?
A site of remembrance for the 12 students that lost their lives during a horrific accident.
What is Bonefire Memorial?
The word Aggies use to greet each other. It is because of this tradition that has earned Texas A&M the reputation of the friendliest campus in the world.
What is Howdy?
Originally it was E. King Gill. Now it refers to every Aggie and is the reason that we stand during the football games.
What is the 12th Man?
A unique and solemn tradition that honors all Aggies, present and former students, that have passed away that year. This event is always held on April 21st.
What is Muster?
A number of Aggies work for Pixar, and because of this, a building in Monsters University is a replica of this TAMU building
What is the Academic Building?
This building is a living memorial, dedicated to all Aggies that have lost their lives in wars, past, present, or future. Also, it is home to the Aggie Bookstore.
What is the Memorial Student Center (MSC)?
This word is used by upperclassmen as an expression of approval or excitement.
What is Whoop?
The night before every football game students gather to practice their yells.
What is Midnight Yell?
This tradition, which brings the senior class together for a symbolic walk through campus, is one of the oldest at Texas A&M.
What is Elephant Walk?
The official hand sign of Texas A&M.

This famous path leads you straight from the Memorial Student Center to the Sbisa Dining Hall.

The song that is played during football games where students place their arms around each other and sway back and forth.

the sophomore class tradition where the sophomore class gets the opportunity to step into the role of and upperclassmen by performing their first “Whoop!”

The oldest student organization on campus.

Part of campus that Corps of Cadets would call home.
What is The Quad?
a phrase used to describe anything that embraces or promotes the Aggie Spirit or the traditions of Texas A&M. It is also used to signify approval of virtually anything.
What is Good Bull?
Instead of cheerleaders, you'll see these dressed all in white on the sidelines directing Aggies in carefully orchestrated yells.
What are Yell Leaders?
This unique tradition is the largest one-day student-run service project in the United States. Students go all over the college station/ Bryan area and preform acts of community service.

This gameday tradition where everyone wears maroon once caused a temporary national shortage of maroon T-shirts.
