Bruno's family was visited by the Fury (50), and after that, they travelled from Berlin to Out-With. This journey happened on a train with comfortable seats (200).
On the other hand, Shmuel and his family were forced (50) to leave their homes. They first had to live with another family (100) in a small room, and then, they had to move to Out-With by train which was full of people with nowhere to sit (100). This was also where the family was seperated: the mother was taken away and Shmuel remained with his father and brother.
