Baptism symbolizes dying to sin and rising to new life in Christ; it doesn’t save us but is an outward sign of inward faith. (Romans 6:4; 1 Peter 3:21 AMPC for clear understanding)
What does it mean to be adopted into God’s family?
Through faith in Jesus Christ, believers become sons and daughters of God, receive a new identity, a transformed life, and spiritual inheritance.

We were given the Holy Spirit so that he could fill our hearts with his love. It is to show God’s love for us by sending us a helper who would convict us and guide us in our daily life. (John 16:7-8; Romans 5:5)
