When do you need to have your OSAT or Praxis passed?
Before your student teaching semester, or you will not be admitted in those courses.
We recommend you start studying your junior year and prepare to take it early, in case you need to take it more than once.
How many questions are on the test?
10 questions.
There is a study guide of 100 possible questions, with the answers. Any of these questions could be on your test, and you will see 10 of them.

That way you can certify to teach after graduating.

You will not be admitted into that course without a completed application for the Teacher Education Program.

If you are going to take the Praxis exams, we suggest taking it after your general education courses your sophomore year.
Absolutely must be passed before EDUC 3002.
If you have the necessary SAT or ACT scores, then you are set.
We recommend considering retaking a few classes if you are below the gen ed GPA requirement anyways, as your overall GPA has the same requirement.
