What is how long students can be kept after school? No students may be kept from specials without permission from specials teachers. Parents must be notified if this occurs.

What is all communication with parents. Please provide the office with a copy of all communication with parents.

Purpose is to improve student learning by reinforcing newly acquired skills. (should be at independent level) Must be given out consistency. Policy explained to parents during Open House.

What are committee expectations?

Escorting students to doors and staying until all students have left. At 3:15 any remaining student should be brought to the office.
What are dismissal procedures? No teachers may leave before 3:15.

What is when a student will come to your class with a tardy slip? The office will input their tardy information Teachers are responsible for changing absences to tardies until 8:15. (meaning the secretaries will need to have a slip to mark a student tardy.)

You are encouraged to use district resources. It is suggested you make requests at least 7 days in advance. As a last resort you may ask an ela s teacher.
What are translations. Please remember that translations are timely and tedious. Be respectful and always bring chocolate :-)

What do I do if I am injured at work?

7:30-3:30, must enter through the docking doors. Please advise the secretaries if you leave the building.

Fill out a supply form in writing and give to Anne. We will make every effort to fill on a weekly basis.
What is how to get supplies or an office requisition form Please do not send students to the office with requests. Also same goes for custodial forms, place them in Maria's box.

Letter informing parents of upcoming events in order to provide parents with an understanding of what will be occurring in our school at each grade level. Can include field trip information, how parents can become involved, and what to do at home to enrich learning.
What is monthly grade level parent communication. To go home in Thursday folders.

Expectation is to come to work dressed professionally. No inappropriate, sheer or tight clothing is allowed. No T-Shirts (with the exception of John Amesse Shirts)
