This billing issue is a problem we are still working to understand so we can help Californians seek assistance. At this time, we are not able to ensure that someone will follow up with you. I know this may be frustrating.

Will someone follow up with me if I file a complaint? Will you follow up with me after you call the pharmacy? How will I know if my issue / claim is resolved?

Applicants are encouraged to seek support from programs like CalFresh, WIC, CalWORKs, the Earned Income Tax Credit, Continuum of Care services, and other wraparound programs. Households with school-age children can also contact their local school district to find out what support may be available. All households can also call 2-1-1 to get connected to local resources.

What if an applicant needs additional help after the portal closes? s

: We encourage you to contact your health care provider or laboratory that did your test to find out your test result. While you wait for the test result from them, we recommend that you stay away from others out of an abundance of caution (refer to isolation instructions). If your test result comes back negative, you can disregard the notification that you received from us. If it comes back as positive, please follow the link in the text or call us back to generate a verification code if you would like the CA Notify system to notify others who may have been exposed.

I received a text message from you that I might be positive and to access a code. I have not received a positive result from my health care provider or laboratory. Does this mean I have COVID-19?

Great, when you are ready that website is: www.californiavolunteers.ca.gov/wildfires/ ● A list of organizations to donate to wildfire victims is also available on the Californians for All website at www.californiavolunteers.ca.gov/wildfires/ ● If you are wanting to donate medical supplies, there is the California Coronavirus Response webpage I can provide to you for additional information on how to do that. A business may post a sign or placard at the entrance to their business notifying customers of the mask requirements. Additionally, businesses may post such information on their website or at point of ticket sale prior to entry or notify their members of masking requirements. As of March 1, 2022, the California Department of Public Health no longer requires masks in most indoor public spaces if you’re vaccinated. However, in some public places like airports and hospitals, all individuals may still be required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status, and some municipalities, as well as businesses, may still require masking

• Emergency situations

• When death of the patient is imminent

How would a business provide information to their customers about mask requirements?

ID.me is set up to help you access your digital COVID-19 vaccine record if you were unable to access it through the California Department of Public Health website. It’s likely that CDPH has your record, but not your correct information. For instance: • Your mobile phone number or email address was not included or does not match, • Your name is spelled differently, or • Your date of birth does not match. ID.me helps to securely verify your identity so that CDPH can help you access or correct your record.

Why do I need to use ID.me to access my digital vaccine record?

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advises schools, daycares, and other settings serving children and adolescents do not need to take extra precautions against mpox. The agency advises facilities to follow their everyday operational guidance that reduces the transmission of infectious diseases. This includes washing hands regularly, disinfecting surfaces and shared objects, and asking children, staff, and volunteers to stay home when sick.

What is the monkeypox/mpox guidance for schools and daycares?

Not everyone who tests positive for COVID-19 and visits a Test to Treat site will receive a prescription for medication. During the Test to Treat visit, COVID-positive patients will meet with a health care provider who will determine if they are eligible for treatment and which treatment is right for them. To be eligible, you: • Must be at high risk for severe illness from COVID-19 (majority of adults). • Must have experienced your first symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 5 days. • Must not be taking drugs that interfere with the possible COVID-19 treatment.

Does everybody who participates in Test to Treat get a prescription? What does it mean to be eligible?

It is best to leave as soon as the evacuation is recommended by fire officials to avoid being caught in fire, smoke or road congestion. Don’t wait to be ordered by authorities to leave. If you are in a forest fire area, evacuating the fire area early also helps firefighters keep roads clear of congestion, and lets them move freely to do their job. Officials will determine the areas to be evacuated and escape routes to use depending upon the fire’s location, behavior, winds, terrain, etc. Law enforcement agencies are typically responsible for enforcing an evacuation order. Follow their directions promptly. You will be advised of potential evacuations as early as possible. You must take the initiative to stay informed and aware. Listen to your radio/TV for announcements from law enforcement and emergency personnel. You may be directed to temporary assembly areas to await transfer to a safe location.

When should I evacuate?

Can you help me reach CalHOPE Warm Line Services?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, this question is too specific to your circumstances and seeks information beyond what I can provide to you at this time. In these situations, we recommend that you contact a lawyer, legal aid organization, or tenant advocacy group. I can provide you with information on no- or low-cost legal aid if you would like?

Question is too specific to individual’s case, outside of the subject of tenant protections, or appears to be requesting legal advice.

We apologize for the delay. While the California Department of Public Health does try to turnaround inquiries within a week, some can take up to 30 days. We ask that you wait until then for a resolution.

In general, cleaning once a day is usually enough to sufficiently remove potential virus that may be on surfaces. Disinfecting removes any remaining germs on surfaces, which further reduces any risk of spreading infection. If a facility has had a sick person with COVID-19 within the last 24 hours, spaces should be cleaned AND disinfected occupied by that person during that time. The current recommendations for cleaning recommendations, as well as the updated K-12 guidance for the current school year, can be found online.

Are there any cleaning recommendations in a K-12 setting?
