What is the process for completing an immunization exemption form for CO? Do families need to update this yearly?

 

  • For CO families have they can be directed to the Online Learning Module and send in their certificate in a PDF format. Online Learning Module

  • Families who go this route must redo this yearly due to state laws.

What are the steps to take if experiencing Dialpad errors?

When Dialpad errors occur, submit your logs, put in a Help Ticket, take screenshots and email them to Danielle Medina.

Do CO students need to be enrolled for the fall term if they choose to enroll in summer sessions?

Yes! CO students need to be enrolled for the following school year in order to be eligible for summer sessions

After confirming FERPA on an OB Truancy call, what are the key points we inquire/inform the parent about?

Address reason, create a plan, encourage student to login today

Make sure the student has access to login and classes

Confirm with them on if they know how to contact teachers and where to locate the info.

Remind of academic expectations, i-ready and attendance logs (if AZ)

Describe what a block schedule is for students 9-12 grade. 

  • 9 weeks to complete 3 courses, about 2 hours per class per day

  • There is less time to complete fewer courses

  • Students on a Block Schedule need to understand that even though they are in fewer courses, there isn’t a lot of time to finish so they have to work quickly.

  • Students that fail two of their three block courses will automatically be moved to a traditional schedule until they pass four of their six traditional term courses.

What are the steps to take if a student has completed all their coursework but still listed on the truancy call list?

If a student has completed all courses. Send an email to managers, add the students information on the ‘Possible Truancy Exemption List’ and ping Danielle Medina to discuss any additional action (if applicable). Possible Truancy Exemption List

When must a student turn 5 in order to enroll in our program in AZ?

AZ- Students must be turning 5 on or before September 1st of the current school year.

When do we cancel leads?

  1. When they request that we no longer contact them or to cancel

  2. Students are under the age of 5 or over the age of 21.

  3. Students live in a state other than AZ or CO.

  4. The lead is a duplicate

When can we submit SPED form for parent if needed?

If there is not an associated Opportunity file for re-enrollment, then the advisor should do the following:

  • Click on the Details tab.

  • Under the Contact information check the box that says “Ready for Re-Enrollment”. 

  • After saving, this creates an Opportunity and automatically emails the family their application.

  • Refresh your browser and confirm Opportunity was created.

If a student is enrolled in a Traditional schedule, they have 10 business days to drop a course.
