If a basic member is being towed to the nearest AAA approved auto repair facility how many miles are they covered for?
5 miles anything above that is the members responsibility.
Tow services include tows to the nearest repair facility or the responding ICS’s repair facility (if applicable) to the extent such facility is located within the allotted mileage range.
Do we need to add fuel costs to the APD window for our shops?
Only if the amount of fuel goes over the $12.00 they will be paid on the fuel call/or if we are paying for the basic level members fuel
How much will AAA guarantee on a personal check for our member?
$250.00 only when a valid membership card and matching photo id is presented at the time of service.
If a call cancels on C484's board and he is en route more than 5 minutes but not on location how would you clear that out?
Since he didn't get on location and he is a rural segment his would be a p4 call after speaking with the driver.
If we provide a jump start and a lockout on a rap call how many service calls does the driver get?
2 one for each service. Rap has to pay each call on its own
If we have a p1 on an RV with a house door what should we be doing?
Calling our stations to see if they can get into that type of door otherwise looking for a locksmith to pcard.
When working with a relay tow how do we clear the first leg of the relay?
We typically clear the 1st leg as a p6 after getting all the miles from the shop.
What level of membership do we need to put in for an ARC valet tow?
Plus level... so customer doesn't have to pay the overages.
How many miles from home does a member have to be to qualify for trip interuption?
anywhere outside of a 50 mile radius from eligible member's primary residence
If the call came in as JS and ended up being a tow and the same shop goes out do we need to dup the call?
No we would just need to add the 1st truck to the apd window and move it to the next driver.
If a non 005 member needs their OPD and doesn't have paperwork who is responsible for calling to get that information?
The member needs to call their home club to retrieve that information
What level of membership do you need to be covered for a bicycle tire change?
Although we offer bicycle coverage to all levels of membership a tire change is not a covered service.
If a call goes police rotation with the shop what is the correct clearing code?
XX cancel not en route. since they are running this call as police rotation we wouldn't be paying the shop.
What level of memberships cover motorcycles?
Plus Motorcycle (AZ), Plus RV, and premier
How many days do we have to get a members vehicle towed if we put the call on delay?
We do not have a limit on how many days it could take our ICS or our AAA Fleet to tow a vehicle out on a delay. If the station has a policy that is on them but no where in our terms and conditions does it give a specific timeframe.
