How do you sew on a button?

Bring the needle up through the fabric from the bottom through one hole on the button. Then go from the top through the bottom of the opposite hole. You will continue this pattern, making an X shape twice. Finally you'll go up through the fabric as close as you can to the button and make four circles around the button, go back through and tie a knot.
