What is an amphitheater?

When your cast and crew all get together to discuss the next stages in your production.

A stage surrounded by audience on all sides.

A rigging system of ropes, pulleys, counterweights and related devices within a theater that enables a stage crew to bring in scenery.

A type of movable light that follows a performer on stage by an operator.

A long speech by one actor in a play or movie.

A technique with the voice to be heard by their audience without straining or shouting.
What is projection?
A rehearsal that focuses on the technical aspects of a performance.
What is a tech rehearsal?
The precise positioning and choreography of actors on stage during a performance.
What is blocking?
a flat piece of scenery which is painted and gives the appearance of walls, buildings or other background.

An adhesive used for securing cables to a stage floor, either for safety or concealment.
What is gaff tape?
These are used (usually during rehearsals or after a performances) by the director to tell actors and the crew what needs improvement or to give praise.
