Taking a mostly dry brush and tracing it along your surface to leave a streak.

Adding or releasing pressure on the trigger.

Miter Saw

Headphones or phones.
What is the full process for painting brick
1) Prime your board.
2) Scumble a base of red, brown, and any added colors like yellow or grey.
3) Measure out the grout lines. Be sure to layer the measurements to account for the overlap.
4) Paint the grout lines, using a straight edge, on your measurements.
5) Determine where your light source is.
6) Go back over and add highlights and shadows.
What is a stipple?
Using the blunt ends of a brush or using a sponge to stamp paint onto your board.
What is the nominal sizing for a 2" by 4" piece of stick lumber?
1 1/2" by 3 1/2"
What do you need a tool to do before beginning a cut?
Come to a full speed.
How do you leave the miter saw after you're finished using it?
Locked down back at 0 degrees.
Lets say you need a darker red (similar to the color we used for brick shadowing) but you do not have paint that color, what can you do to get this color?
Mix a black and red paint to shade the red.
What is the difference between a loose and a tight scumble?
A tight scumble has definite variation in color while a loose scumble is more blended out.
