What is technical writing?
The act of writing or drafting technical communication that requires the author to explain, instruct, or direct people working in the field of computers, business, medicine, and others
What is the connotation of a word?
an idea or feeling that a word invokes in addition to its literal or primary meaning.
When should your writing be concise?
Emails, cover letters, college admission essays, and resumes should be straight to the point.
What is audience?
The intended reader.

Let the word speak for itself and do not use unnecessary filler.
Ex. We collaborated together on the project.
Instead say…
We collaborated on the project.
Your tone should be reflective of your audience. In other words, you should know who you're writing to and what's appropriate.
