What is Placement Tests?
An outreach or campaign that happens before the start of a semester to check on the enrollment of a student.
What is the Registration Campaign/Calls?
The official form viewed in Perceptive Content to show that a student can be directly placed into ENG 101.
What is a High School transcript?
This program which allows students to receive credit for NUR 110 and NUR 120.
What is LPN to RN?
The Datatel screen used to check test scores.
What is TSUM?
The folder in the Advisement Manual where you will find topics like "Midterm Alert,""Academic Warning," "Academic Probation," and "Suspension Appeal" forms.
What is Academic Standing?
A prompt sent by a faculty member asking an advisor or other support staff to contact a student.
What is an FSA or Faculty Student Alert?
The form viewed in Perceptive Content to show how far along a student is in their major.
What is a program checksheet?
Sometimes referred to as PLA, this form of Advanced Standing or receiving credit is based on previous work or life experience.
What is Prior Learning Assessment?
The Datatel screen used to run a degree audit on other possible programs for the student.
What is PSPR?
The folder in the Advisement Manual where you'll find the "Authorization to Release Form."
What is FERPA?
What an advisor must do to take a student off of a general list and assign a student specifically to their name.
What is "take ownership" of the alert?
The form viewed in Perceptive Content to show that a student no longer wants to pursue Biology as a major and instead wants to study Chemistry.
What is the Major Change form?
This specialized population can receive credit through relevant coursework or training found on their Joint Service Transcript.
Who are military/veteran students?
The Datatel screen used to check Institutional Credits and GPA.
What is STAT?
Folder in the Advisement Manual where you'll find information about advising adult learners, ESL learners, Honor's students, military and veteran students, Job Corps, and Pittsburgh Promise students, among others.
What is Specialized Populations.
The technology from which CRM advise receives information.
What is Datatel?
The form viewed in Perceptive Content which shows what credits from a previous intuition will be relevant to a student's current program at CCAC.
What is a Transfer Credit Evaluation?
A set of articulation agreements between secondary and postsecondary Career and Technical Education institutions which CCAC participates in. Students in this program submit qualifications and National Occupational Competency test scores to Admissions.
