In 45 seconds, tell the story of Cana of Galilee. What lesson do we learn from this story. The proctor should set a 30-second timer on their phone. If the group does not answer within those 30 seconds, the next team gets to guess.

Cana of Galilee was the first wedding that Jesus attended while on Earth. At this wedding, they ran out of wine, and that's when Mary asked Jesus to perform His first miracle. Although it was not time, Jesus turned the water into wine. This shows that Marriage is blessed by God, and Jesus sacrifices His timing to make sure the wedding goes beautifully. When Mary tells the servants to "do as he tells you," it demonstrates complete faith and trust in her son.

In 30 seconds, tell the story of Saint Paul and his conversion to Christianity. What can we learn from this story?

Paul was known as Saul of Tarsus. Before his encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, he was a persecutor of Christians. He was a devout Jew, so he got permission from the high priest to kill Christians. On his way to Damascus, he encountered Jesus and was blinded by God's light. After some time, his sight was restored by God through the hands of Ananias; then he believed and was named Paul. This story teaches us that God is capable of changing the hearts of murderers and sinners.

in 30 seconds, recite Psalm 23.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2     He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside still waters.
3     He restores my soul;
He leads me in paths of righteousness
    for His name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
    through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
    for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
    they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

In 45 seconds, tell the story of the Good Samaritan. What lesson does this story teach us?

 A Jewish traveler walks down the steep, dangerous road from Jerusalem to Jericho. Robbers attack him, beat him, steal his clothes, and leave him half-dead. A Jewish priest walks down the same road. He sees the wounded man, but he crosses to the other side and passes him by. A Levite (a temple assistant) comes to the spot. He also looks at the injured man and walks past on the other side. A Samaritan traveler arrives. At that time, Jews and Samaritans despise each other and have deep ethnic hostility. Even so, the Samaritan feels deep pity. The Samaritan cleans the man's wounds with wine and oil, and wraps them in bandages. He puts the man on his own donkey and takes him to a safe inn to care for him. The next day, the Samaritan gives money to the innkeeper. He asks the innkeeper to keep taking care of the man, and promises to pay for any extra costs on his return trip. The story teaches that a true neighbor shows active love and mercy to anyone in need, regardless of race, background, or social division.

in 30 seconds, tell the story of Mary and her sister Martha. What lessons can we learn from this story?

Jesus visits Lazarus and his sisters, Martha and Mary. Upon Jesus's arrival along with his apostles, Martha is busy preparing food, and Mary is sitting down at the feet of Jesus, mesmerized by his teachings. Martha is frustrated that her sister is not helping her and eventually expresses her frustration to everyone. Jesus tells Martha, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed-or indeed only one thing. even though, what you are doing is good, Mary has chosen the thing that matters most." This teaches us that although there are many things we may need to juggle, the most important thing is God and having a relationship with Him.

In 45 seconds, tell the story of the women who bled for 12 years. What lessons can we learn from this story?

A woman suffered from an incurable bleeding condition for 12 years, which left her physically exhausted, financially ruined from failed medical treatments, and socially isolated due to ancient religious purity laws. Having heard about Jesus, she quietly pushed through a pressing crowd and touched the fringe of His garment, believing that even a touch of His clothes would heal her. The moment she touched Him, her bleeding instantly stopped. Jesus stopped the crowd, noting that power had left Him. When the woman fearfully confessed, Jesus did not condemn her; instead, He called her "daughter," praised her faith, and told her to go in peace. The lesson we learn from this story is about how having faith can do miracles. Not only this, but it is also important to understand Jesus's reaction, given that menstrual bleeding was perceived as unclean during this period. God looks at the inside and did not rebuke her with harsh words; instead, he sympathized with her and allowed her to touch Him.

in 1 minute, recite Mathew 6:31-34

  1. Matthew 6:31-34. “Therefore, do not worry about saying, ‘what shall we eat? What shall we drink? Or what shall we wear? For all these things, the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need these things. But first seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
