Yo no fui al colegio ayer porque estaba enfermo
I didn't go to school yesterday because I was ill/sick.
Yo todavía no he encontrado mis llaves
I still haven't found my keys.
Deberías estudiar más para tus exámenes.
You should study more for your exams.
Si tú no riegas las plantas, ellas se mueren
If you don't water the plants, they die.
