Describe the differences in the relationship between Mary-Ellen's community and Penelope's community and the Indigenous people.

Mary-Ellen's community had a positive relationship with the Indigenous people. They helped her community by showing them where to set up a settlement, taking care of her sick brother, and teaching them how to hunt and make food.

Penelope's community did not have a good relationship with the Indigenous people. Her father did not have a good perspective of them and did not allow her to communicate with them because they have different beliefs.
