The unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government or its citizens.

Attack where a group of gunmen and suicide bombers decided to attack a major stadium in the capital of France, leaving over 100 people dead and hundreds injured.
Environment
The effects on landscapes can be as devastating as earthquakes as buildings collapse and craters develop. Acts of terrorism can also be directed against the environment itself like natural resources such as freshwater, oil, or agricultural products.

Positive Effect(s) of Terrorism
Because of the attack, government and military strengthened their security around borders, airports, etc. which created a safer environment in their country and around the globe. Also, in a way it brought people together, people grieve and empathise with others, they put aside differences and in a communal and compassionate way brought each other up out of their sadness. Though, of course these minor positive effects do not out weigh the other horrible affects.
What is Transnational Terrorism?
Violence committed by citizens of one nation against targets in another nation.
The Manchester Attack
Back in May 2017, over twenty people were killed, thousands injured and affected(some are children) over a bomb that exploded at the end of Ariana Grande’s concert.
Healthcare System
It is evident that injuries caused by the bombings have had a severe impact on the lives of a number of people. A terrorist incident will therefore affect the functioning of a hospital for a considerable period after the event.
Explain and recall the video.
The video contained first hand information of the traumatizing experiences of terrorism throughout the decades beginning from 1970s to the recent 2010s. The women in the video explain their hardships and severe life changing impacts of the attacks. They discussed its effects on their mental health, their physical health,and the lives of people around them. The video gives a good insight to the effects on humanity by giving real life examples of what terrorism is capable of and who it affects. It affects anyone and everyone,anyone who is compassionate can feel the pain of the other and those who fall victim are simply innocent civilians who have no say or involvement in the matter.

Terrorism is negatively affecting students and their education as schools, colleges and universities remain closed due to terrorist threats which waste their time. Many Extracurricular events are frequently cancelled or postponed because of continuous threats to educational institutions.

Wanting to be a part of a group or organization

Environment they grew up in were already full of violence, they became normalized to war and death
Makes them feel a sense of heroism

Seeking justice, has a faulty and delusional moral compass.
What is Religious Terrorism?
Terrorist groups which are extremely religiously motivated.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki Nuclear Attack
Two nuclear bombs were dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki leaving over 100,000 people dead.
Psychological
Several terrorist attack victims have shown a high prevalence of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other psychological symptoms such as fear, anxiety, sadness, lack of interest in daily activities and hopelessness were also reported after the attacks.
The ISIL (aka ISIS)
A huge and dangerous terrorist organization that originates in Syria and Iraq which targets nations all across the world in order to gain recognition, control and respect. Their aim is to create an Islamic state across Iraq and Syria and more.

The 9/11 Attack
A group of terrorist hijacked two planes and crashed it through the twin tower in NYC, killing almost 300 people.

Al Qaeda
Islamic terrorist group founded by Bin Laden. It was originally a group to fight the SOviet Union in the Afghan war but continued to be a group that fought against certain Islamic regimes. Their aim is to remove foreign influence in Muslim countries. They are most infamous for their devastating attack against the US on September 11, 2001.
