In other words, it's a memory technique to help your brain better encode and recall important information. It's a way people memorize the planets: "My very excellent Mother just served us nine pizzas." My- Mercury, Very- Venus, Excellent- Earth, Mother- Mars, Just- Jupiter, Served- Saturn Us- Uranus, Nine- Neptune, Pizzas- Pluto.
