When you spend more than one minute on a question. If this happens, flag the question and move on to another. Come back later to answer.

This technique helps reduce anxiety and increase oxygen flow to the brain, improving thinking skills.

This allows you to release tension, move on from the experience, and open yourself to new opportunities and experiences.
What is letting go (leaving the test behind)?
You do it out of fear or low self-esteem but you could get a zero, call to parent, or detention or suspension.
What is cheating?
You can see if you have the correct answer by
1) substitute your answer back into the original equation to see if it holds true or
2) use the opposite operation (if you divided, use multiplication) or
3) make an estimate before doing the calculation. then compare your answer to the estimate to see if your answer is reasonable.
What is checking your work?
For word problems, one time is not enough. I do this a few times to determine the gist, identify key information and help me decide how to solve.

This technique involves rolling your shoulders, wiggle your fingers, massage your neck or other small body movements
