Must the equipment I use for infants be equipped with safety straps?
If you use high chairs, swings, strollers, infant carriers, bouncer seats, or similar types of equipment, they must be equipped with safety straps that must be fastened whenever an infant is using the equipment.

What do you do for a weather drill ( tornado drill) ?
The sheltering of children and caregivers within the center to temporarily protect them from situations such as a tornado, make sure location is away from windows and children are accounted for.

Never prop or support bottles with some object. The infant or an adult must hold the bottle.

When having two teachers outside on the playground, where should the teachers be?
Separate from each other engaged with the children on two different sides of the playground.

(A) Labeled with the toddler's first name and initial of last name or otherwise individually assigned to each toddler
(B) Cleaned and sanitized between each use
(C) Used for drinking and feeding, and never allow toddlers to sleep with or walk around with a bottle or training cup.

What are the proper sets for changing a diaper?
Prepare for the diaper change. ( collect all items you need before putting child on changing table)
Remove clothing and unfasten the diaper. Place soiled clothing in a plastic bag to send home.
Clean the diaper area. Clean the child thoroughly with disposable wipes. Wipe front to back. Be sure to clean all creases and cracks in the child’s skin. Roll up the soiled diaper with used wipes inside and dispose in a lined, covered trash can.
Put on the clean diaper. Add cream if needed, make sure diaper cream has child's name on it.
Wash child's hands and your hands.
Disinfect the diapering area with a bleach and water solution. Allow the solution to stay on the surface at least two minutes, then wipe dry with a paper towel or allow the surface to air dry.

What is our pick-up procedure?
* Masks are REQUIRED for adults at drop-off and pick-up.
*Only two cars at a time can pick up their children
* Caregivers will meet parents along with their child at the blue line.
*For infants, the caregivers will hand parents the car seat and the baby separately. For safety reasons, parents will place and buckle their child into the car seat.
