Competitive Mode
This unlockable weapon was the first to be banned in organized competitive play. Despite his voice line, this weapon is in no major leagues.
What is the Sandman?
This update added a new voting system and several new items for select classes, by removing them. Finally the scout can show his lovely hair, and the engineer's lack of it.
What is the Hatless update?
This secondary reskin replaces a martial art for mutation. At least we don't know where the liquid comes from unlike the original weapon.
What is the Self-Aware Beauty Mark?
This game series is referenced through pyro's shotgun taunt kill. It's not even the right colour, his fire is orange where the projectile is blue.
What is Street Fighter?
This estranged game mode released in the Meet Your Match Update, adding a new voice line for each class. The voice line just shouts "Medic" but its about asking your teammates for your turn with the ball.
What is Pass Time?
This class was originally considered the queen in the meta sixes comp and was restricted to one per team, until the Love and War update nerfed his secondary weapon. Now I understand his drinking problem.
What is the Demoman?
This update is commonly considered the point where Value started to drop development for TF2. And they just promised to update the buggiest class as well. So much for that mojo.
What is the Meet Your Match?
This weapon's kill icon contains an envelope rather than the actual weapon. Just be glad it is more relaible than the Royal Mail.
What is the Postal Pummeler?
This series is referenced through an Engineer wrist cosmetic, which changes the PDA to match the design of the series. Does this make the Engineer the lone surviver?
What is Territorial Control?
This class has the most amount of banned weapons across the two popular formats. Radiation and "milk" based drinks are not allowed.
What is the Scout?
This update is infamus for being overhyped and being a flop on release. Maybe they should have focused on the game itself and not the SFM short film.
What is the End of the Line?
This "weapon" was revealed during the WAR! update and was gifted to the Soldier for winning a competition. It's ok, the Demoman already has one through the Shanty Shipmate taunt.
What is the Gunboats?
This game's version of the revolver tweraling villian is referenced in the Engineer's Texan Trickshot taunt. Not going to lie, his skills is pretty good.
What is Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater?
This classic game mode was originally not in the game, being added in the Classless Update. Sadly it is not a reference to the TV show.
What is King of the Hill?
This banned effect is given by equipping specific weapons and cosmetics. Despite being one of the first two cosmetics newer players obtain, they don't want us to know what he sees.
What is Pyro-Vision?
This update was revealed through the crafting system, gifting random players with a special melee weapon. This item would join the pan with having a golden version which is not australium
what is the Engineer update?
This primary weapon's acronym and the beginning of this melee weapon's name is the exact same. Despite having two, its the scout's mum's only one.
What is 'FAN'?
This series is home to two classic purple secondary weapons which was discontinued by the Poker Night at the Inventory games being taken off steam. Hopefully this unlikely couple will be united in the battlefield.
What is Sam and Max?
This game mode is the most recent to be added by Valve, being a twist on the most well known game mode. I guess they fixed the no capping issue.
What is Hold the Flag?
This primary weapon is the only banned weapon for the Demoman. After such a big nerf, only Engineers should be scared of this mythical weapon.
What is the Loch-n-Load?
This update was the first major update, adding the first unlockable items and a "well loved" payload map. You would be suprised that they didn't rush it.
What is the Goldrush update?
This Spy weapon can strangely be found on Elon Musk's desk. Maybe the crits this weapons gives can fix his bolding.
What is the Diamondback?
This 2014 game was referenced in the all-class hat with the (mostly) same name. Hopefully they will catch that strange character.
What is Octodad: Dadliest Catch?
This unfinished and unreleased mode was the original version of MVM. Hopefully it will be released, after this sponser!
