Christmas Hymns

In 1818, the Australian priest Joseph Mohr requested to a friend of his, who was the organist and choir master at his church, to take a poem he had written and turn it into a song that could be sung by two voices and a guitar soloist. With the organ being broken, the priest dearly wanted music to still be apart of the Christmas Eve Service. In the end, the organist wrote the melody to one of the most beloved Christmas hymns in the world: "Stille Nacht" or in English:"Silent Night". This was the name of the organist who wrote the melody.
