The Quartering Act was passed on March 24, 1774. It was about the colonist having to house the British. They would have to feed them, shelter them and give them supplies. Finally, it ends on June 2, 1774, saying the soldier could no longer stay in the colonist homes, but they were allowed to stay in a barn or a shed or local in.
