A genre is a category of literature identified by form, content, and style.
Ex. poetry, speech, fiction, and non-fiction
What is 1st Person Point of View?
The narrator is a character in a story and tells the story from his/her perspective. uses "I"

The narrator is not a character in the story; tells a story about the other people; uses "he, she, it, them"
