Elder Holland told a story about 2 brothers rock climbing. Tell us the story and what you can learn from it.
One of the brothers was able to help the other one onto a ledge, but he wasn't able to get up there himself. He told his brother to go look for a tree branch so that he wouldn't have to watch him fall as he tried to make a leap for it. Just as he thought he was going to slip and fall, his brother grabbed his wrist and was able to pull him to safety. He was always there just waiting for him. This is like the Savior. He is always there waiting to safe us from the effects of the "Fall."

Elder Brent H. Nielson told a story about his sister who fell away from the church. Tell us about that story and what we can learn from it.
His sister grew up in the church and married in the temple. Later she fell away from the church. For 15 years the family watched, waited, prayed, and loved her. Finally, she came back. The interesting point of this story, however, is that we are all on the path back to Heavenly Father. We are all the prodigal son.

Quentin L. Cook told a story about an uncle who served in World War II. What was special about his watch. Why?
He wore a watch from his father that was always set to Utah time to remind him of his family. If we faithfully have family prayer, scripture study, family home evening, priesthood blessings, and Sabbath day observance, our children will know what time it is at home. They will be prepared for an eternal home in heaven, regardless of what befalls them in a difficult world. It is vitally important that our children know they are loved and safe at home.
