The Narrator compares these people to the bullies in her playground at school.
Who is: The bad people/bullies in Ahmet's country Syria, who drop bombs on people, who are stronger and more powerful than the refugees.
Jennie tells everyone this lie about Ahmet.
What is Ahmet has done something bad in his old school and is too dangerous to be let out into the playground with the other students.
These three lies circulate in the school about why Ahmet disappears at lunch and at recess.
What are 1) Ahmet is dangerous 2) Ahmet has a super contagious disease 3) Ahmet is super rich and sent under-cover to school to avoid being kidnapped.
Mr. Brown responds to Mrs. Grimsby by doing this.

The Narrator's mom tells her about refugees and names one important difference between Dena and refugee children.
What is: Dena's family wanted to move away, refugee families are forced to run away- because bad people make it impossible for them to stay.
