Controls heart rate, breathing and blood pressure
What is the medulla?
Pea sized, but controls body temperature, hunger and thirst.

Responsible for speaking

Controls the left side of the body
What is the right side of the brain?
Contains the visual association area which handles visual information for the eyes
What is the occipital lobe?
Sits beneath the cerebrum and in front of the cerebellum.
What is the brainstem?
Involved with memory processing
What is the hippocampus?
Emotional control center
What is the limbic system?
Glial cells clean up this part of the brain
What is the neuron?
Executive center of the brain
What is the frontal lobe?
Receives every sense except for smell
What is the thalamus?
Transfers smells from nose to brain
What is the olfactory bulb?
What is the left side of the brain?
