The tea boys came up with an idea to go to the grave yard and dig up bones and sell to earn more money and Parvana didn't think its a good idea because she thinks that the people in the grave would mind them digging up there bones and she wasn't really comfortable of the fact that she is digging other peoples bones.

When they arrived at the prison mother told the soldiers that she's here for her husband .Each time the soldiers ignored she said i'm here for my husband and took a photo of him out then more guards began to gather in-front of the prison and she kept saying i'm here for my husband louder and louder.They ordered them to be quiet then started hitting mother with a stick then more of them joined to hit mother and Parvana. Parvana didn't take it so she said with a loud voice we'll leave.The Taliban told Parvana and mother to leave immediately.

They were going inside but they saw Taliban soldiers pushing and shoving people inside.The stadium was awfully quit then a bunch of Taliban soldiers merged through the stadium carrying prisoners through the fields with there hands tied behind there back.They untied a man and stretched his arms on a table top.They took out a sword and cut off the mans arms.

It's a tiring job because Parvana had to go down the broken stairs and down to get the water than back again to the room with the heavy bucket in her hands.They have to boil the water because the water was dirty for them to drink and they can die from drinking it or get deceases.

Why was it a dangerous plan for Parvana to go outside disguised as a boy to help her family?
It's dangerous for Parvana to go outside because women are not aloud to go outside without a man. If she gets caught disguised as a boy they could beat her up or through her right in jail for breaking there rules. It's not safe for 11 year old to be outside especially if she's disguised as a boy and breaking rules.

Mazar is a safe place because the Taliban soldiers haven't yet took over this part of Afghanistan.So,people can still learn there and go to school and women there don't have to wear burqas.The crying girl called Homa told Parvana that the Taliban soldiers came to Mazar and went in houses looking for enemies and killing people in the streets and leaving all the bodies lying on the streets for the wild dogs to eat.

Girls were disguised as boys for loads of different reasons. Many girls were disguised as boys to go work outside in the streets and in the markets to get money. Others are disguised as boys just to go outside since the Taliban banned them from going outside without a man. Some people just disguise them because they want a boy not a girl. Before the Taliban came to Afghanistan it was a nice place to live. Girls were aloud outside without a burqa or chador on there heads.Girls were aloud to go to school and learn like any other people in the world and live there childhood then grow up and worry about there family problems.After the Taliban, Afghanistan wasn't the same. Houses were blown up, streets were ruined and soldiers every where watching your every move.Girls were banned from school and banned from going outside without a man. Boys worked and girls disguised themselves as boys to work and earn money, when they can be at home enjoying there childhood.People would get beaten up in the streets and were even killed in-front of there children's eyes. Families suffered and starved from the Taliban.
