Jonas finds a sled on top of the snow-covered hill. He and Gabe use the sled to slide down the hill. As they slide, Jonas hears music and an echo. The end is up for interpretation. Jonas and Gabe could have found "Elsewhere" and stumbled upon a new community. Another interpretation is that Jonas was hallucinating from exhaustion, hunger, and thirst, and died or is dying :(
