The first Sunday of Lent is about having treasures in heaven. This is a theme that we should remember as we fast. It is not just a change in diet, but rather we are fasting so that we can build the Fruits of the Spirit, and learn to do good to others.

Why does our church have us fast from all animal products (meat and dairy)?
