Knowledge
This helps us to keep God first in our lives. It is a blending of knowledge and experience.
Wisdom
This allows us to act calmly and in a way that avoids causing unnecessary injury to others.
Gentleness
Purity in thought, dress, and action. We act in a way which does not draw inappropriate attention to ourselves.
Modesty
This helps us to make a good decision when we are facing a choice.
Counsel
Being committed to growing closer to God through obedience.
Faithfulness
This allows us to love other people and endure circumstances even when they are difficult.
Patience
When we use our sexuality according to our vocation or state in life rather than using it inappropriately.
Chastity
This helps us comprehend God’s purpose for our lives.
Understanding
This recognizes that our fulfillment comes from our relationship with God rather than material goods or earthly pleasures.
Joy
