We are manufactured in the endocrine glands within the body & are released directly, without ducts, into the circulatory system then travel to specific targets.

I am comprised of the heart, arteries, veins & inteconnecting cappillaries.

Located in the walls of hollow internal structures & blood vessels
What are smooth muscles
Defends against foreign invaders & cancer cells. Paves way for tissue repair
What is the immune system?
The inferior portion of the brain, responsible for the cardiac center, vasomotor center & respiratory center.
What is the Medulla Oblongota?
This organ removes waste products from your blood. It also controls the levels of many substances in the blood as well as help control your blood pressure.
What are kidneys?
The human heart has 4 chambers, 2 receiving and 2 pumping.

I am supplied by a rich collection of blood vessels & nerves

Secretes hormones into the blood, which control the metabolic activities, water & ionic balance & other processes

My primary function is to store bile that is produced by the liver and to help break down fat in the body.

THe pressure that the blood exerts against the walls of the arteries as it passes through them.
