This beloved character assists Link throughout the game, guiding him to meet with Zelda and collect the Fused Shadows, saving the Spirits of Light in the process. Though she begins as an aloof and self-centered person, only there to save herself and her people (the Twili) she later comes to care about Link and the fate of Hyrule.
Who is Midna!

This enemy is a classic Zelda enemy dating back to OoT. Link must strike them while they lunge, and then again when stunned to defeat them. They drop nuts.
What are Deku Babas!
This middle-boss is encountered in the Forest Temple. As Link journeys through the Temple, this middle-boss continuously interferes, cutting down a bridge, kidnapping monkeys, etc. until Link finally confronts him in his chambers. Link must knock him off the poles he stands on and avoid his Gale Boomerang. When Link defeats him he is freed from the parasite controlling him and Link is able to get the Gale Boomerang!
Who is Ook!
This boss is the first overall boss that Link must fight. Found at the end of the Forest Temple, this boss will gobble Link up if he is not careful.
Hint: this boss is most likely inspired by Biollante!

This place is one that Link calls home, and is where he starts his journey.
Where is Ordon Village!

This item is present in almost every Zelda game and is Links primary weapon in defeating evil.
What is the Master Sword!

This character is known for their sarcastic comments and intelligence, eventually working their way to creating a shop in Kakariko and a shop in Castle Town.
Who is Malo!

What are Shadow Beasts!
This middle-boss is one of the first ones we encounter, though it is a while before we can actually fight them. Link first encounters them as they shatter the peaceful lives of those living in Ordon Village and kidnap Ilia. Link is able to confront them when they invade Kakariko and kidnap Colin, ending with a confrontation on the Great Hylian Bridge. Link sees them again one last time in the courtyard of Hyrul Castle, where, upon defeat, they give Link the key he needs and states that they "always follow the strongest side".
Who is King Bulblin and his steed Lord Bullbo!
This boss is encountered in the Goron Mines. In order to defeat this boss and bring him back to his true self, uncorrupted by the Fused Shadow, Link must stun him and use his Iron Boots to bring him down.
Who is Twilit Igniter Fyrus!
This place is a blast from the past, having both inspiration from a specific tower in Wind Waker and a central hub in Ocarina of Time. Link is able to access this place once he is guided to it within the Sacred Grove and plunges the Master Sword into its pedestal.
What is the Temple of Time!

This item is one of the first items that Link obtains. It is found in the Forest Temple.
What is the Gale Boomerang!

This character is a childhood friend of Links, and Link spends a large portion of his adventure looking for her after she was kidnapped.
Who is Ilia!
This enemy is found only within the Snowpeak Ruins and the Cave of Ordeals. They are animated bones made of ice that hurl spear-y icicles at Link.
What are Chilfos!

This middle-boss is encountered in the Goron Mines. When Link first enters the room he is guarding he believes Link to be an intruder and prepares to fight him by breaking the chains keeping his platform afloat, dropping it into the lava below. To beat this middle-boss Link must use his Iron Boots to toss him into the lava until he concedes and lets Link pass, also letting him take the Hero's Bow.
Who is Dangoro!

This eel-like boss is found in the Lakebed Temple, and is fought at the bottom of a water-filled chamber. In order to defeat it, Link must use his Iron Boots and Clawshot to smack its eye.
Who is Twilit Aquatic Morpheel!

This icy place is thought to have been a place within which the Royal Family stayed or hid. Covered in ice, it is now home to a lovely Yeti couple, Yeto and Yeta.
What are the Snowpeak Ruins!
This item is solely present in the HD remaster. It is used to detect Imp Poes and is given by a specific golden friend once he receives 20 Poe souls.
What is the Ghost Lantern!

This character appears to Link in dungeons and, along with her son, can help Link warp out of dungeons and back into them as he pleases.
It is suspected she is based upon M.C. Escher's lithograph Other World, which has a very similar creature in it.
Who is Ooccoo (and Oooccoo Jr.)!

These little enemies are found in the Arbiters Grounds, Hyrule Castle and the Cave of Ordeals. Invisible to Link without his wolf sight, these enemies don't directly harm him. Instead they cling to him, slowing him down significantly.
What are Ghoul Rats!

These two middle-bosses are encountered at Lake Hylia at separate times. The first middle-boss is encountered when Link first arrives. A Bulblin archer rides atop its back and Link must attack it when it comes down, biting it until it is defeated. Afterwards, Link can use this middle-boss to travers up to Zora's Domain whenever.
The second middle-boss is encountered once Link retrieves 15 of the required Sacred Tears for the area. In order to defeat it, Link must attack it as it moves past him until it is eventually defeated and produces the final Sacred Tear.
Who is Twilit Carrier Kargorok and Twilit Bloat!

This boss is encountered in the Arbiter's Grounds and requires the use of the Spinner to fight. Once a lifeless fossil of an ancient beast, this boss was reanimated by Zant when he plunged the Scimitar of Twilight into its skull.
Who is Twilit Fossil Stallord!
This place acts as a safe haven for both Link and the children of his home village. Home to a bomb shop, graveyard and later a Malo Mart, this village is one that Link returns to frequently.
What is Kakariko Village!

This item is obtained in the Temple of Time and is used by Link to move and control statues.
What is the Dominion Rod!

This character is found in a house crawling with cats. He asks Link to help him return his soul, which he sold to poes in exchange for riches.
Who is Jovani!
This enemy floats around, freezing everyone it touches.
What are Ice Bubbles!

This middle-boss is encountered in the Lakebed Temple. Having been around for 1000 years, this gross middle-boss can be defeated with sword strikes and bombs thrown into its mouth. Defeating it nets Link the Clawshot!
Who is Deku Toad!
This boss in encountered in the Snowpeak Ruins and is a possessed friend of Links who he has helped recover from a sickness throughout this dungeon. Link must defeat this boss using the Ball and Chain to chip away at its ice, eventually succeeding in bringing back his friend.
Who is Twilit Ice Mass Blizzeta!

This place is a hub for the Resistance, and is where Link finds his old friend Ilia caring for Ralis, the Zora Prince. From this place, Link is able to get help from the proprietor and escorts the both of them to Kakariko Village.
What is Telma's Bar!
This item is one that Link acquires 4 times in his quest to save Hyrule and thr Spirits of Light. This item allows him to collect Tears of Light.
What is the Vessel of Light!

This character is found within a secret village that almost solely inhabits cats. When Bulblins take over the village she becomes a prisoner in her own house until Link kills them all.
Hint: she shares a name with a classic Zelda character who has guided both Link and Zelda in several games.
Who is Impaz!

These enemies fight together and must be separated by using the Clawshot, or a bomb or bomb arrow before you are able to truly attack them.
What are Chu Worms and Shell Jellies!

This middle-boss is encountered in the Sacred Hollow. Though this middle-boss seems like an annoyance and enemy, they actually lead Link through the Sacred Hollow two times: once to the Master Sword and once to the Temple of Time, helping Link navigate through the confusing terrain as they battle.
Who is Skull Kid!
Fun fact: this Skull Kid may be connected to the Skull Kid Link encounters in Ocarina of Time as it knows Saria's Song, which Link taught to the Skull Kid in OoT!

This boss is found at the end of the Temple of Time. To defeat this boss, Link must use his Bow and Dominion Rod to stun and smush it until it explodes, after which it can be defeated with a single sword strike.
Who is Twilit Arachnid Armoghoma!

When Link first arrives at this place, he finds its denizens frozen in place. In order to free them he must warp a Molten Shard from Death Mountain.
What is Zora Domain!

This optional object can turn the Hero Bow into something akin to a sniper rifle, which is incredibly useful when saving a hidden village from Bulblins.
What is the Hawkeye!

This character appears to Link several times throughout the game, teaching him Hidden Skills that he can use on his journey including the Ending Blow, Shield Attack, Back Slice, etc.

Who is the Hero's Spirit!
Bonus: Link, the Hero of Time
These little enemies are found all over Hyrule field. They don't pose any significant threat to Link and can be shot from afar with the Heros Bow. The wormy insides they leave can be scooped up for fishing bait.
What are Bombskits!
This middle-boss is encountered in the Arbiter's Grounds. When Link first enters the chambers this middle-boss is housed in, all that is there is a sword embedded in the ground, bound by ropes and covered with talismans. Once the ropes are cut, the evil spirit within is able to awaken, burning away the talismans, with the sword seemingly attacking Link by itself. To defeat it, Link must use the sense of his wolf form to see the wielder of the sword and attack it when the opportunity arises.
Who is Death Sword!
This boss is found in the City in the Sky, and has been terrorizing its denizens for a long time. In order to defeat this boss, Link must use his Double Clawshots and Iron Boots to slam it into the ground, breaking its armour until eventually he is able to climb onto its back and attack it directly.
What is Twilit Dragon Argorok!

This place was once a prison, built to house the most ruthless prisoners in Hyrule. Lore rich and filled with both Gerudo handiwork and Hylian customs, this place holds both a fierce dungeon and a chamber dedicated to a specific Mirror.
What are the Arbiter's Grounds!

This item is obtainable after a long sidequest of fundraising and bridge fixing. It substitutes heart loss for rupee loss, while losing 2 rupees every second it is equiped. It can be incredibly useful in the final boss fight.
What is the Magic Armour!

This character lives in Castle Town and is an avid lover of bugs. She enlists Links help in collecting golden bugs to attend her ball, giving him rupees in exchange.
Who is Agitha, Princess of the Bug!
Found only within the Forest Temple and City in the Sky, this play on an old enemy requires that Link toss a bomb into its gaping mouth. Unlike the older forms of these enemies, they do not steal Links shield. Only 4 exist in the game!
What are Deku Likes!
Contrary to its name, this middle-boss, found in the Snowpeak Ruins weilds a Ball and Chain. In order to defeat him Link must attack his exposed tail with his sword or bomb arrows. He drops hi Ball and Chain when he dies.
Who is Darkhammer!

This boss is encountered in the Palace of Twilight and has been interfering with Link's journey the entire time. Having presented himself as a cunning, ruthless and intelligent tactician, when Link confronts him in the Palace his facade cracks and he reveals himself to be an incredibly erratic, unpredictable and unstable person. Link must fight this boss in recreations of previous boss rooms, and whatever strategy he uses must change with the arena.
Who is Usurper King Zant!
Home to a mysterious race, this place is exceptionally hard to reach, requiring Link upgrade a very useful cannon to reach it. Link must travel to this place in order to obtain the final shard for the Mirror of Twilight.
What is the City in the Sky!

This item is given to Link by Mayor Bo after winning a wrestling match. Link uses them many times throughout the game.
What are the Iron Boots!

These characters once attempted to kill Ganondorf but were unsuccessful, resulting in the death of one of them. Out of fear they banished him to the realm of the Twili.

Who are the Ancient Sages!
Bonus: the Sage of Water!
These enemies are found all over Hyrule, both Light and Shadow. They follow their leader in attacking Link using clubs or bows. When their leader turns against Ganondorf, they can be seen at the end of the credits riding through a peaceful Hyrule.
What are Bulblins!
This middle-boss is found in the Temple of Time and is a classic middle-boss that has been in several Zelda games. Incredibly powerful, it takes patience and strategy to defeat this middle-boss, requiring that Link systematically destroy its armour. Once its armour is gone, this middle-boss is faster than before, sometimes attacking with little warning.
Who is Darknut!
This boss is one of the final bosses and Link encounters them in Hyrule Castle. Controlled by our true final boss, they attack Link with a sword, floating around the arena. The only way to harm them is to rebound energy balls they send at Link with either a swing of his sword or the swing of an empty bottle.
Who is Ganon's Puppet Zelda!
This arduous place poses a significant challenge to Link, though if he is brave enough to complete it he will receive a valuable reward.
What is the Cave of Ordeals!

This item helps Link warp in and out of dungeons.
What is Ooccoo Jr.!

These characters require Links help to get back their strength and return their light to them. The guard the 4 regions found within Hyrule.

This enemy, found in the Arbiters Grounds, employs an age old tactic of paralyzing screams, using the opportunity created in doing so to swing their big swords at Link. Weak to very few weapons, it takes many hits to defeat them.
What are Gibdos!

This middle-boss, and later enemy, is found in the City in the Sky. Its wings give it the ability to avoid most of Links attacks, requiring the use of the Clawshot to defeat.
Who is Aerolfos!
This final boss takes 3 forms throughout our fight with them, starting as a large, savage beast and ending as a power hungry man. At the end of our fight with them, they unform Link that this cycle of reincarnation will continue, and that "the history of light and shadow will be written in blood".

This incredibly large place is visible from almost anywhere in Hyrule. Link first visits it to meet with an esteemed leader, returning again to help an injured Midna and once again to challenge the one behind every event in the game.
