How did early slave trade affect both Africans and English colonists?
People from Africa were captured and were sold as enslaved workers to the English Colonies. The Africans suffered a lot on the slave ships and many died. In the 1700s some people in the colonies became alarmed by the cruelty of the slave trade and formed groups to end slavery.
