Odysseus and Telemachus both return home and are emotional. Eumaeus is emotional when he has both Odysseus and Telemachus return. Penelope celebrates the return of Odysseus when he reveals his identity to her at the end of the story.

What is Odysseus' weakness? How does this create an issue for him?
His weakness is that he is very PRIDEFUL! He boasts to the cyclops, Polyphemus, about the fact that he stabbed him in the eye. This makes Poseidon angry and causes Odysseus problems while out at sea.
