The Socs and the Greasers are alike in that they are both groups of teenagers trying to fit in somewhere. They all have problems and they are all scared/worried about growing up and who they will become. They are different in that the Socs have material things to ?make them feel important or secure. They often do not have to deal ?with consequences of their behavior because their parents get them ?off. Greasers are poor, but use their hair and grease to make them ?feel secure.
