How does Professional judgment play a role in determining elegibility?
In the evaluation and eligibility determination process, professional judgment should be used for every decision from the formation of the eligibility determination team (EDT) through the formal eligibility determination decision, including selection of assessment materials, identification of evaluators, interpretation of test results, etc.
At what tier of RTI's should testing formal evaluation take place?
When the student is not showing adequate growth or progress during Tier 2, formal evaluation should be initiated.
