What did Moses (peace be upon him) promise to the servant (Khidr)?
He would be patient and not disobey any order, if Allah willed.

After each incident, Khidr explained to Musa that his actions were based on Allah's will and wisdom. He told Musa that the boat was damaged to save it from being seized, the boy was killed because he would have caused harm to his parents, and the wall was repaired to protect the treasure for the orphan boys. Khidr emphasized that Musa could not understand these actions because of the limits of human knowledge.
قَالَ أَرَءَيْتَ إِذْ أَوَيْنَآ إِلَى ٱلصَّخْرَةِ
He replied, “Do you remember when we rested by the rock?
وَمَآ أَنسَىٰنِيهُ إِلَّا ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَنْ أَذْكُرَهُۥ ۚ
None made me forget to mention this except Satan
What did Khidr remind musa of after he questioned the killing of the boy?

قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنَّا نَبْغِ ۚ
Musa responded, “That is exactly what we were looking for."

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا مَجْمَعَ بَيْنِهِمَا نَسِيَا حُوتَهُمَا
But when they ˹finally˺ reached the point where the seas met, they forgot their ˹salted˺ fish
فَٱرْتَدَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَارِهِمَا قَصَصًا
So they returned, retracing their footsteps.

It belonged to poor people working at sea, and a king seized every good ship by force.

قَالَ لَهُۥ مُوسَىٰ هَلْ أَتَّبِعُكَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تُعَلِّمَنِ مِمَّا عُلِّمْتَ رُشْدًا
Musa said to him, “May I follow you provided that you teach me some of the right guidance you have been taught?”
قَالَ إِنَّكَ لَن تَسْتَطِيعَ مَعِىَ صَبْرًا
He said, “Indeed, you will never be able to have patience with me.”
What did Musa (AS) say when he realized he could not be patient with Khidr?
He said, "If I ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me as a companion."
