What do you do if a resident is missing?
Call out over the walkie if anyone has seen resident. If not, call over head "Code Orange, Mr. Bob please return to your room"3x. Search inside building and outside premises. If not located, contact leadership/authorities as directed.
What is EBP and what should be done if you see this sign?
Enhanced Barrier Precautions - you must put on gown and gloves when providing direct cares for resident on precautions. Gown and gloves worn if in room for 15+ minutes regardless of providing cares or not.
