Let them know :) / Ask friends/classmates about what was covered / Don't have to tell them you overslept, can always just say you were unfortunately unable to attend

You’ve been struggling in one of your classes and the grades you’ve received back are lower than you’d like. Your family is asking you about your classes and encouraging you to earn A’s in your first semester.

If you need support seek it out! Some options are academic support center, writing center, office hours with professor, checking in with FYSA, etc. / Also, you're going through an incredible transition from high school to college; it's going to be challenging and it's okay to not be doing as well as you did in high school, give yourself time and space to adjust :)

Discuss your options with CPG; is there another counselor you could talk to? You find yourself sleeping a lot and not being able to get out of bed. You’re going to the dining hall to eat, but otherwise, you’re avoiding work and not responding to your faculty.

Things are not going well and that's okay! But the first step is to acknowledge that and to accept help. There so many different resources available that can help with this, don't feel like you have to do everything alone! Talk to CPG, talk to a Peer Support Worker, call their crisis line, talk to a friend, your FYSA, your PM, etc. It's hard to ask for help but trust me, things get so much easier when you do :))
