This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you:
God is light in him there is no darkness at all.
If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness
We lie and do not live out the truth.
But if we walk in the light,as he is in the light,we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus, his Son,purifies us from all sin.
If we claim to be without sin
We deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins,he is faithful and just and will
Forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a
Liar and his word is not in us.
My dear children ,I write this to you so that you will not sin.
But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but.
Also for the sins of the whole world.
We know that we have come to know him
If we keep his commands.
Whoever says, I know him but does not do what he commands
Is a liar and the truth is not in that person.
But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is
Truly made complete in them This is how we know we are in him.
Whoever claims to live in him
Must live as Jesus did.
What is sin
Sin is engaging in an act that goes against God's word, commands, and laws,
Sin is turning away from our rejecting
God's Word, it's choosing to do wrong when you know better,
For some of us, sin is fun and exciting and pleases the flesh
They choose to walk in sin or choose that/those sin(s) as a lifestyle.
John says that he heard this message directly from God, and now he is telling it to us.
God is light in him there is no darkness.
We can trust John because, as an inner- circle apostle
John knew Jesus personally he touched Jesus
Who touched Jesus laid his head on Jesus shoulder
John
God is
Light
Darkness is the absence of
Light (God)
We should walk in
Light
Jesus is the
Light of the world
There is no
Darkness at all in God,
What are some temptations in the world
lying, fornication, stealing, drugs,
