What is center left?
In order to avoid stepping a nail, you should regularly do this the stage.
What is sweep?
The offstage fire extinguisher in our auditorium can be found behind this.
What is the sound board?
If the audience sees a character go off stage to the left (from their perspective), the script would say the characters exits in this direction.
What is stage right?
These two actors sit facing each other at this position on the stage.
What is center stage?
If a batten begins to fall, you should never do this to try and stop it.
What is "grab the rope"?
For our performances, this area is where you would find both the attendance desk (our box office) and the entrance to the light booth.
What is the lobby?
This is the flat, solid thing at the rear of the stage. Don't forget the quotation marks!
What is the "back wall"?
The actor in the brown pants is standing at this position on the stage.
What is downstage left?
This is the only thing that is more important than the safety of the performers and crew members working on the production.
What is nothing?
While our auditorium does have plenty of seating, it does not have these two sections of seats.
