This group of people are lead by the House Manager, they help audience members find their seats and hand out programs
Who are the Ushers
located at the back of the House. This is where the Sound board and Light board Ops work. The Stage Manager is also stationed here to call cues.
What is the Booth?
The large curtain closest to the Audience. Usually red or a dark blue.
What is the Grand Drape?
the written dialogue, description, and directions provided by the playwright.
What is a Script?
This is a small performance space with no real stage.

This person is in charge of the Front of House and the House.

This is where the audience sits.

your movement on the stage. Usually written in your script.

A raised walkway, usually above the Stage or House, with operating and mounting positions for stage lighting.

This is the side offstage that is masked by the Legs.
What are the Wings?
A Converstaion Performed by two or more Actors
What is a Dialogue?
This is the most common type of stage. The audience sits in front of the action. the stage is framed by a large arch.
What is a Proscenium stage?
This person is in charge of everything that happens on the stage until the first show. they pick out the actors, the set design, etc.
Who is the Director?
A Single bare light bulb posted on a portable pole. this light is used to give off some light in a darkened theatre as a safety precaution.
What is a ghost light?
Front part of the stage that is usually decorated, that acts as a frame for the stage.
What is the Proscenium Arch?
a form of theatre with little to no written dialogue or premade choices.

An outdoor Theatre made famous by the Greeks and later improved by the Romans
What is an Amphitheater?
This Person is in charge of everything Backstage and in the Booth. they take over running the show after the first night.
