Allegorically- the red Sea prefigures baptism where we are freed from our slavery to sin
Morally- God is teaching the Israelites the lengths he will go to free them to show his love. God is showing the israelites that they must leave behind their former lives in Egypt to belong to him and be his people
Anagogically- In eternity God desires perfect union with us, which demands a complete separation from sin.

The new law- the command to love is the fulfillment of what all of the prophets and other OT figures were prophesying and preparing.
